Vorig jaar werd de INS gepresenteerd op de Pasar Malam Indonesia. Op donderdag 22 maart jl. vond de eerste officiële bijeenkomst plaats, waar uiteraard de nieuwe ambassadeur van Indonesia werd voorgesteld en verwelkomd.

The mission of the proposed Indonesia Nederland Society is to enhance mutual understanding in the areas of culture, history, science, economics and politics, and to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two nations in all of these areas on the basis of equality. The society aims to do so by providing timely and accurate information through lectures, conferences and discussions, and to promote education through scholarships, travel grants and other projects, including forging new linkages between Indonesian and Dutch universities. It will work closely with leaders in governmental and non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, the media and business, as well as with the general public in both nations.

Aanwezig was de veteraan Ted Meines. En profiel lijkt hij een beetje op Karremans, maar die was het dus niet!
Ik dacht dat ik overste Karremans achter Joty ter Kulve zag zitten.
Dat is die commander van het laatste Srebenicapeloton die zo omstreden werd.
Of was het toch iemand anders. Woont die Karremans niet op de Antillen tegenwoordig, gevlucht voor de media ?
weet niet of hij dat is..karremans is 64 jaar oud en spierwit haar en snor..deze man lijkt wel ouder, maar kan hoor..en Karremans woont dacht ik in Spanje..las ergens dat ze hem toch voor de rechter wilden slepen
