Kunt u misschien ook een oproep van mij plaatsen op uw website? Ik ben op zoek naar meer informatie over de man op bijgaande foto. Tevens zou ik graag ik contact komen met zijn familie. Het gaat om een inspecteur van politie met de naam Teerling of Teerlink (juiste schrijfwijze is mij helaas niet bekend). Hij was eind jaren veertig gestationeerd op West-Java, waarschijnlijk in de omgeving van Batavia. Alvast weer dank voor uw hulp! Mvg, Fredrik Willems

Ashoka Netherlands🇳🇱 and Indonesia🇮🇩 are inviting you! Join our Indo-NL Changemaker Circle and make a difference for young changemakers in Indonesia!

🌴 The Netherlands and Indonesia have a special relationship, embedded in their shared history. After Indonesia gained its independance in 1949, many “Indos”, people of mixed European and Indonesian ancestry, came to live in The Netherlands. Dutch culture is importantly influenced by them, especially when it comes to music🎸 and food🍛.

Do you have roots in Indonesia, a special interest in the “Insulinde”, or in the country that it is today? Indonesia still faces a lot of challenges, but also holds a great potential; 65% of the population is under the age of 40. And many of them want to create change for the good of all. Will you join us, to grow this movement together?

🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽🙋🏾♂️Ashoka supports changemakers in Indonesia for over 40 years. Over the years we have grown into a community of 197 Ashoka Fellows, reaching millions of Indonesian people. And we can do so much more, especially to engage young changemakers. If you feel a connection with Indonesia, and want to do something meaningful with it and meet likeminded spirits, this is your chance!
