I have started a campaign and am asking for your help for it to go viral. It is about telling Google to change the English translation of the Dutch word “Indische” We need scores of people to spread it among their social networks and send a strong messsage to Google.. Will you be kind enough to spread it among your social networks? Please feel free to change the message to your own needs and/or language.
Thanks much. Priscilla McMullen

Dear Relatives & Friends,
I am asking 3 minutes, maybe even less, of your time. Google incorrectly translates the Dutch word “Indische” into “Indian” on the Internet. You can find a good example by clicking on Opening Ceremony of Tong Tong Fair in Den Haag.where the word “Indische” has been translated into “Indian” numerous times. For Indos, this is a serious misrepresentation of who we are.
If you want it to remain the same, don’t read on. BUT, if you want to tell Google to make the change, take a few minutes to do is the following:
click on Google Translations Page and do these 5 easy steps.
1. Type Indische in the window that appears
2. Translate from : (choose) Dutch
3. Translate into: (choose) English)
You then will see Googles translation is Indian
4. Click on Contribute a better translation
5. A screen will appear; Type Indo and click on Submit
Thanks for your anticipated support of this campaign!

Goh, wat een interessant idee, natuurlijk heb ik de aanwijzingen gevolgd. Krijgen we eindelijk een beetje begrip voor die verdwaalde Indonesiers/Indiers.
